Knots

Palomar Knot - An all purpose hook to line knot. Very quick to tie and reasonably strong.

Albright Knot - This knot is used to join two lines of different thicknesses. It is used to attach a heavier 'leader' (rather than a double) to a lighter main line.
It requires careful forming of the loops.

Clinched Half Blood - This is a high strength multi purpose knot. It's main use is attaching swivels,lures or hooks to the main line.
Formation should be assisted by pulling down to the base.

Hook Snell - Quick and simple method of attaching line to a hook with an up or down turned eye. Can only be used with a free length of line as both ends must pass through the eye.

Uni Knot - This versatile knot can be used can be used for connecting hooks, swivels, rings and lures. Its main advantage is that it retains virtually 90% breaking strain. Easy to tie even in the dark after practice.

Balls Eddy, PA
3 1/2 Miles north of Hancock bridge (West Branch)

Belvidere New Jersey Ramp
Located on Front Street in Belvidere,New Jersey 50 yards South of the Delaware River Bridge. The Delaware Bridge connects Belvidere, NJ with Riverton, PA. Ramp opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM with a locked cable.

Bordentown NJ
Bordentown, NJ Municipal Boat Ramp (Permit. Bordentown resident permit is $50. In-State non-resident permit is $100. Out-of-State non-resident permit is $200.)

Buckingham Pa.
Approximately 2 miles north of Equinunk, Pa off Rt 191

Bulls Island State Park NJ
This State Park is located on RT 29 near Stockton NJ. This ramp offers access to waters below the Bulls Island Wig Dam.

Kittatinny Ramp
Is located on I-80 on the NJ side 1/4 mile from the Water Gap bridge. This gives access to the Delaware Water Gap.

Lambertville NJ
Boat ramp is behind the restaurant near the steel bridge. Just follow the dirt road into the woods and the ramp is 1/8 down. This ramp gives access to the river above the New Hope Wig Dam.

Martins Creek, Pa
Off 611 aproximately 1 mile north of Martins Creek, Pa. Follow signs on local roads to ramp.

Matamoras Pa.
On 549 1 1/2 miles north of Port Jervis bridge.

Milford Beach Ramp
Is located on Rt 209 in Milford Pa 1/4 mile north of RT 206 bridge.

Off Main Street, Narrosburg NY (RT.97)

Neshaminy
In Neshaminy State Park off state road Croydon ,has 2 ramps one for boats one for jet skies

Penn Beach boat ramp
Pennsville New Jersey 08070 Great Boat ramp located across from Old New Castle, DE. Also about a 1/4 mile North of Pea Patch Island and Fort Mott. Great beach at low tide and easy acess to C&D Canal!

Pennsauken boat ramp
Pennsauken, off of Darousse Av

Philadelphia - Linden Ave
Public ramp in NE Phila. Take Academy Road exit from I-95.

Phillipsburg Launch
Located between the toll bridge (US Rt. 22) and the Easton-P'burg "free bridge" on the NJ side of the river.

Poxono Ramp
Is located 6 miles north of the I-80 bridge on Old Mine Rd on the NJ side of the river.

Scott's Park
Located right at the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers on the PA side in downtown Easton.

Smithfield Beach Ramp
Is located 5 miles north of the I-80 bridge on the PA side of the river.

Standt's Eddy
This ramp is located a few miles north of Rt 22 on the Pennsy side of the river.

Tinicum Park, PA
Off RT.32 approximately 1.5 miles south of the Uhlerstown, Pa - Frenchtown, NJ bridge.

Trenton NJ
This ramp is located on Lamberton Street south of Lalor St. This is a public ramp and provides access to the tidal section of the river.

Unknown Name
Lehigh and Delaware river meet on rt611 on the delaware side. parking limited.

Upper Black Eddy
Below Upper Black Eddy, Pa - Milford, NJ bridge.

Walpack Bend Ramp
Is locate off Rt 209 10 miles north of the I-80 bridge in PA

Worthington State Park Ramp
Is located on Old Mine road, 3 miles north of the I-80 Bridge on the NJ side of the river.

Yardley PA
This ramp is located 1/4 mile south of I-95. Just take the last exit (or the first if you're coming from NJ) and follow the local streets until you get to the river. This ramp is very busy in the early spring and tough to use in the summer months due to low water. Trailers with 8" wheels do best in the summer and trailers with 12" wheels need roller bunks to launch.
