Introduction to Coastal Striped Bass Fishing

We have been in pre-production on a new DVD called "Introduction to Coastal Striped Bass Fishing" but today we got a chance to shoot some video with Capt. Kris Black from Fish Stix Guide Service out of Belmar, NJ. It didn't take long to get to the spot to catch some bunker for bait. Just North of the inlet we found many schools of Bunker on our sonar. Large pods of thousands of Bunkers appear as if they were the bottom on our screen. We did some snag hooking the Bunker for bait and with a little help from one of the other guide services who happen to be netting the bunker, we soon had our bait live well full.
A quick run further North we came to 25 or 30 boats clustered around an area just off the shoreline. Action was hot and furiously for a hour of drifting with the boats. One large striper after another couldn't resist our Bunker. We had a lot of work to do for the new DVD and this time the fish were cooperating with us and biting on cue.
This DVD is just one of many we are working on right now. All will be available on our website and at the sport shows in the fall.
Special thanks to a great Captain, Kris Black from Fish Stix Guide Service for taking us out and putting us on big fish. If you are looking for a great guide and a good boat to going fishing with talk to Kris and he will put you on some nice Stripers.
