2007 Monster Trout Derby is open to all fishermen:

There is no entry fee for the public and no pre-registration. All that an angler needs to do is catch any one of the 30 Monster Trout being stocked in the Lackawaxen River between Rowlands and the Village of Lackawaxen.

These trout are tagged with a number that corresponds with the list of sponsors. Simply take the fish to the Anglers Roost sporting goods store on Scenic Drive in Lackawaxen for weigh-in and certification at which time you will receive your prize certificate and have your photograph taken for the press. Prizes will vary. The contest will continue through the entire trout season.
